Lindsay’s career spans over 15 years experience in preclinical research, clinical trial design and product development within the field of cell therapy and regenerative medicine. She has developed an extensive network of key players in the cell and gene therapy community, which she brings to CellTherEx and her clients.
Lindsay has experience within both the academic and industrial sectors, working as both Chief Scientific Officer of a cell therapy company and Associate Professor in Stromal Cell Biology at The Karolinska Institute. She has been presented with multiple awards and is the named inventor on numerous granted patents for her research.
She has extensively published in the field of regenerative medicine and the use of advanced therapies for immune mediated disorders including Graft versus Host Disease, Type I Diabetes and Multiple Sclerosis. She is an accomplished public speaker presenting research and clinical trials at a significant number of International conferences in the field and for investors.
She has a proven track record in successfully receiving external grant funding, clinical trial design and application to competent authorities, training and mentorship for academics, spin-outs and SMEs supporting transition from the laboratory to the patient, and in process development and GMP manufacturing in connection with contract manufacturing organisations.
